Trust principles
How Skills Tech handles your code and data.
The same principles hold across Skills Tech products. We describe capabilities by what is live today, not by what is planned.
Local-first where practical
OpenThunder's free Desktop and CLI scans run on your machine. Local scans stay local and never upload automatically.
Deterministic before AI
Deterministic checks run first. Any AI interpretation is clearly marked as advisory, so you can tell verified evidence from opinion.
Bring your own key
Where a feature uses external AI, you can bring your own API key, so you stay in control of what is sent and to whom.
No source retention by default
By default Skills Tech stores hashes, references, and summaries, not your source code. Cloud reports process only the repo you explicitly upload or connect.
Export and delete
You can export the evidence behind a proof, and request deletion of repo data you uploaded to the cloud. Local scan data never left your machine.
Proof without exposure
An Ownership Proof shows what you verified, understood, and defended. It never includes private source code or private transcripts, and you decide what is public.
Skills Tech products help engineers prepare, practice, verify, and prove readiness. Vendor certification exams and official vendor credentials are administered by their respective providers. Skills Tech is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AWS, Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, GitHub, Cursor, or any certification provider.
We do not use real exam dumps. Practice questions are original and written to help you understand the technology, not to reproduce any vendor exam.
Proof artifacts never include private source code or private transcripts. You control what you share.
