Is Skills Tech Workspace available now?
Workspace, the full team layer for billing, admin, proof portfolios, certificates, and readiness reporting, is coming. The Team Ownership Pilot is open now so your team can start and help shape what ships first.
Who handles billing and accounts?
Skills Tech Talk is the billing home and login broker for the ecosystem. Team billing and admin run through it; Skills Tech does not run a separate billing or login system.
Can individuals just start on their own?
Yes. Anyone can start free with a diagnostic and unlock every certification path with Founding Access for $9 a month. The Team Ownership Pilot is for managers who want readiness, verification, and proof across a whole team.
Security & enterprise
Can our security team authorize this for proprietary code?
That is exactly what the Team Pilot is for, and we will only tell you what is true today. Available now: OpenThunder's core repo analysis runs locally and deterministically on your machine, with no key and no upload required, and graded AI can run on your own provider key instead of ours. In active development, not yet generally available: a counter-signable DPA, SSO and SCIM, customer-facing audit logs, and provider-governance controls. Request a pilot and we will walk your security team through exactly what is live and what is on the near-term roadmap.
Do you claim SOC 2, or that the tools are certified secure?
No. We do not claim certifications or controls we have not shipped, and the verification tools do not guarantee that your code is secure. OpenThunder helps you identify and govern risk; it is not a security certification or a legal audit. Formal attestations are handled by Skills Tech Talk and are in progress, not complete.
Where does our code and data go?
Local OpenThunder analysis stays on the machine. Cloud reports and graded practice require processing, so anything you send for those is uploaded to run them. Proof artifacts you generate never include private source code or transcripts, and you control what you share. Product-level data handling lives in each product's own privacy terms.
